Help & Rules

Being a member of Penny Petz and using it is completely free! Pennies are earned by selling Petz.
One account per person.
No account sharing!
Do not try to cheat the system. Play fair!
Do not upload Petz that you yourself did not create. No MPAs, no reselling, etc.
Do not upload Petz that you've listed for sale somewhere else.
Do not upload Petz again if they've already sold. Do not cheat the system!
If your pet needs external resources, ZIP your pet up with them. When uploading, check off the boxes that apply to that pet.
Follow the rules listed in your pet's profiles. All Petz are from different members of the community, and everyone has their own rules.
If someone has uploaded a hexed litter, please exercise common courtesy and only adopt one. It is not fair (or practical for that matter) to adopt an entire litter of the same hexed pet. Users who push this envelope will be considered for permanent removal.

If you are found breaking these rules or attempting to skirt the Penny Petz systems in any way, you will be permanently banned.

Every account starts with 5 pennies.
Every pet costs 1 penny.
To earn more pennies, upload Petz to the Adoption Center and wait for them to sell.
Your account page shows your listings and adopted Petz.
You may keep up to 10 adopted Petz available to download. Adopting another replaces the oldest download. Download your Petz ASAP! You can also delete downloaded files using X.
Unsold Petz are unlisted after 90 days, and their uploaded files are deleted. To offer them again, upload them as a new listing.
Every time someone purchases your pet, it appears in your personal Archive under your account, with a maximum of 50 names and profile pictures.
Penny Petz can take raw pet files AND zip files. If you upload a zipped file, a few options will appear where you can dictate what extras this pet needs (palettes, textures, or breedfiles). For any box checked, make sure these resources are in your zip!
Pets may appear with different icons in the Adoption Center. A 🐕 icon means an extra breed is required. A 🎨 icon means the pet requires a palette. A 📁 icon means the pet requires external texture(s).
The complete member list, including blocking, is in the navigation above. Blocked members cannot see your Chatbox messages or adopt your Petz, and you will not see their Petz in the Adoption Center.

This website was created with outside help, both hired and offered.
Penny Petz is not responsible for corrupted pet files.
Penny Petz is open at my own discretion and can be closed at any time.
If your behavior does not align with general Petz community standards, I will block your account.
I did not create Petz. It is a copyrighted property owned by P.F. Magic & Ubisoft.
I do not profit from Penny Petz. If you feel so inclined, contribute to my Ko-fi.
Pets listed in the adoption center are out of both my (Pinto) and your control once listed. If there is someone you do not want adopting your pets, please utilize the blocking function. Otherwise, anyone with a penny can adopt your pets, as is the nature of Penny Petz.
